My Heart

My heart, why are you downcast,
Why the sadness you feel?
Why keep my soul in constant sorrow?

The word of God you need to hold fast
Pray without ceasing for him to reveal,
For a better today, a brighter new tomorrow.

Oh precious heart, reach out to his loving arms
Don’t give up now
Don’t waiver on your simple faith

Reach out to God who keeps you from all harm
Get on your knees and bow
Seek His guidance, seek His Holy face

Be of good cheer,
God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him,
To those who are called according to His purpose.

He is close to the brokenhearted always near
Your solid rock you stand, He has forever been,
He will shower you with his grace and everlasting loving kindness

Oh precious heart, reach out to his loving arms
Don’t give up now
Don’t waiver on your simple faith

Reach out to God who keeps you from all harm
Get on your knees and bow
Seek His guidance, seek His Holy face

My heart, why are you downcast,
Why the sadness you feel?
Why keep my soul in constant sorrow?

What My Transparent Heart Wants To Convey

It’s another day of struggling
Sitting at the kitchen table wondering
How in the world will I get through all of this?

I am told to keep hoping
To believe and keep praying
That I can find peace and joy in your gospel message.

Lord, I am asking for your help please,
I am seeking for answers to grasp,
That your door will open up for me today

I’ve read your word is a lamp for my feet
And a light for my path,
Can you see what my transparent heart wants to convey?

For I want to believe,
That there is true meaning out there
That there is a purpose for everything.

With my eyes to literally see,
Something tangible that you do care
Remove my doubts, my fears, keep my feet from falling.

Be close to this brokenhearted man,
I want to live in this peace that’s beyond my understanding,
Lord, I’m ready to try it your way.

I know for me you have a purpose and a plan,
This sinful soul is asking for mercy and grace, will you forgive me?
Can you see what my transparent heart wants to convey?

Lord, I am asking for your help please,
I am seeking for answers to grasp,
That your door will open up for me today

I’ve read your word is a lamp for my feet
And a light for my path,
Can you see what my transparent heart wants to convey?

You Are Still With Me

What has become of me?
Have I not embraced humility?
Have I taken in pride instead?

I want to be strip of everything,
Not boast of worldly things,
But find mercy, and eat from the living bread.

I cry with remorse
I hunger for your forgiveness Jesus
Oh that I find peace within my soul, my God and King.

I turn to you Lord my only recourse
That I may dwell in your presence
Speak to my heart that it may know, you are still with me.

My sins, my wrongs, the ugliness is not small stuff,
My shameful ways detest you,
Restore this broken relationship with you once again.

For one day without you is more than enough
My heart cries for mercy to shine through
Oh how precious are the words Lord to be called your friend.

I cry with remorse
I hunger for your forgiveness Jesus
Oh that I find peace within my soul, my God and King.

I turn to you Lord my only recourse
That I may dwell in your presence
Speak to my heart that it may know, you are still with me.

Change the World
My child,
Don’t be afraid,
Have no fear.
Instead put on a smile,
Where is your simple faith?
Believe that I am always near.

For I have called ordinary people for extraordinary things,
To raise up a generation of true worshipers
That has a true passion for the lost.

Endless glorious possibilities
For those who have a heart a desire to serve
That already have counted and weighed the cost

That they would share this salvation message
Believe in the impossible what I can do
For the nations, for every man, women, boy and girl

Be strong and don’t get discouraged
Believe what my power can do through you
I will use you my child to change the world.

That my son’s name be lifted up raised on high,
Salvation atonement found only through Him
That His banner of love is unfurled.

Go now on this Great Commission believe I will supply.
You have our promised gift, the Holy Spirit within.
Believe I will use you my child to change the world.

Love me wholeheartedly
Be faithful to the end
Speak courageously,
I will defend

Walk victoriously
You never are alone
Love my sweet mercy,
Make forgiveness always your home.

That you would share this salvation message
Believe in the impossible what I can do
For the nations, for every man, women, boy and girl

Be strong and don’t get discouraged
Believe what my power can do through you
I will use you my child to change the world.

That my son’s name be lifted up raised on high,
Salvation atonement found only through Him

Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Today

Lord, today someone lost a husband, a wife, a brother, a sister
A father, today someone lost a mother.
Today, someone is suffering more than me.

Today, someone lost their home to natural disaster,
They lost their children, they lost everything.
Today, someone is suffering more than me.

Today, someone lost their job, and now homeless, today living on the dangerous streets.
Today, someone feels they are not loved; today someone is parallelized and feels hopeless,
Today, someone is suffering more than me.

Today someone is suffering for the cause of Christ in Uganda Africa, Turkey, and China.
Preaching your name wholeheartedly,
Today they are beaten, spit at, and thrown in jail, for you Lord, being treated unjustly.
Today, someone is suffering more than me.

Yet throughout the world,
You Lord are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow
You still comfort with the same love, the same peace, the same joy that calms our storms.

This amazing love I am truly overwhelmed
All sinners and saints you see their sorrows.
When we call on our Savior,
You comfort us as a mother cradles her cherished child
In her precious loving arms.

Oh Lord, what reasons do I have to complain?
When blessings have poured upon me over and over again.
When my suffering is about selfishness,
When I grumble about losing my material things.

What reasons do I have, that say I am hurting, I’m in pain?
When my brother, my sister, my neighbor next door is in need of an understanding friend.
When today Lord, someone is suffering more than me.

Wrote this poem for my wife, for our 16 yr anniversary we celebrated on September 18th. Husbands, love your wife deeply, care for her, share with her, encourage her, be tender with her, pray for her and pray with her always. For the day you fall out of love with Christ, is the day you fall out of love with your wife. Love your wife, like Christ so loves the church.
This Is the Women I Love

She is soft, she is strong,
Yet fragile when I embrace her tender touch.
She is my encourager my song,
This is the women I married; this is the women I love

She is my big supporter
When the future seems bleak,
She is my soul mate, my God sent partner,
The reason why I married thee.

She conveys to the Lord in prayer
That He watches over me lifts me up
I pray Lord; I’m always giving, affectionate with her
This is the women I married; this is the women I love

Lord, you showered me with a blessing
The day she came into my life
Her smiles and kisses, so captivating
Amazing day it was, 16 years ago, when she became my beautiful wife.

Together hand in hand on this adventuress journey, His grace bestow upon us.
This is the women I married; this is the women I love
Our faith in Him together we relied, from any storms that we face that come
This is the women I married; this is the women I truly deeply love.

For Just Loving Me

Sometimes I forget, maybe lost the joy of my salvation.
I’m so caught up with myself at times,
Trying to get things done this day.

My heart is stirred in the wrong direction
With everything going on, just trying to get through my daily life
But I neglect the most important thing, and that is pray.

You stop me right in my tracks,
Remind me, of who you are,
So undeserving, I’m so unworthy.

Your faithfulness you do not lack,
You softly speak to my heart,
In awe and wonder, I embrace humility.

Your grace so amazing,
So beautiful to adore,
I’m speechless of your kindness, your favor,
Your love is eternity

I’m broken on my knees,
My face to the floor,
My precious Savior
All I can say thank you for just loving me.

Oh how I’ve taken advantage of your love,
How many times have I found mercy?
Your grace, I thoughtlessly let my heart squander

I lift up my hands and now let go of,
The things of this world that don’t matter to me,
My heart belongs to you, my everlasting Father

Your grace so amazing,
So beautiful to adore,
I’m speechless of your kindness, your favor,
Your love is eternity

I’m broken, on my knees,
My face to the floor,
My precious Savior
All I can say thank you for just loving me.

Lamentations 3:22-24 (NIV)

Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,

great is your faithfulness.
I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him."

Grieve

I come as a mighty rushing wind,
With flames of tongues,
Yet I am gentle as a dove.

I speak boldly the truth about Him,
Reveal secrets, create in hearts new songs
Unveil mysteries unheard of.

For you I will do so much more,
How I yearn that you deeply know Him,
Oh that you will have unwaiving faith
That you will grow and believe.

But I hurt when you shut the door,
You stop short of true praise, worship and hymn,
Then I leave without haste,
When unwholesome talk proceed.

Pained by your sin,
The love is cold that you show
Forgiveness waits so patiently,
Broken hearted I am,
I want you to know,
Can’t you see that I grieve?

I am here to be your guide,
To be your comforter,
True to faithfulness,
Draw you close to Jesus seated above.

I am your cloud by day, fire by night,
To share with you the heart of the Father,
That you experience the fullness, greatness,
The power of His love.

For you I will do so much more,
How I yearn that you deeply know Him,
Oh that you will have unwaiving faith
That you will grow and believe.

But I hurt when you shut the door,
You stop short of true praise, worship and hymn,
Then I leave without haste,
When unwholesome talk proceed.

Pained by your sin,
The love is cold that you show
Forgiveness waits so patiently,
Broken hearted I am,
I want you to know,
Can’t you see that I grieve?

House of Death

I see where your heart takes you,
You I truly know,
I cry out to you to heed to my mercy.

Only ruin awaits there for those who view,
A snare for your soul,
Do not be captivated by her beauty.

Your addictions,
Are abominations,
The path you are taking will only lead you to your own wrath.

Her luring flirtations,
Is only bait, poison food for your lustful temptations,
Walk away my son from the house of death.

I come to set you free,
You have purpose;
I can heal your heart.
My son seek my tender mercy,
And I’ll set your course,
Direct your life with my loving arms.

You don’t have to live this way again,
For adultery has no future,
But consequences of regret.
But I will restore what is lost and broken,
I’ll be your loving Father forever,
Your sins to remember no more, but thrown into the deepest ocean.

Flee from these lustful desires,
Turn and run away from them now
My precious lost prodigal son,
Find mercy for your soul.

Don’t be lured by her seductive ways that lead to hell burning fire,
You can find freedom; I can show you how,
Seek repentance, find redemption,
Find me, seek me, is what you need to know.

Your addictions,
Are abominations,
The path you are taking will only lead you to your own wrath.

Her luring flirtations,
Is only bait, poison food for your lustful temptations,
Walk away my son from the house of death.

Proverbs 7:22-28 (NIV)

All at once he followed her
like an ox going to the slaughter,
like a deer stepping into a noose
till an arrow pierces his liver,
like a bird darting into a snare,
little knowing it will cost him his life.
Now then, my sons, listen to me;
pay attention to what I say.
Do not let your heart turn to her ways
or stray into her paths.
Many are the victims she has brought down;
her slain are a mighty throng.
Her house is a highway to the grave,
leading down to the chambers of death.

The Prostitute

My lonely heart, with the shinning lipstick,
Empty eyes with the flashing eyelashes.
Your Heavenly Father has so much to give, my child I truly care.

There is a better way of living; you can stop the flirting tricks,
I can heal your broken heart remove all scars and blemishes,
My mercy and grace cries out to you, for you it yearns.

My child, I will give you a crown of beauty for ashes,
A joyous blessing instead of mourning,
A festive praise instead of despair.
My heavens orchestra of angels rejoicing for your return.

It's not a cliché, call upon the power of my name,
I am never too far to hear your cry.
Yesterday, today, and forever, my love for you still the same,
Let me turn this around for you, for a better amazing life.

I will be your healer, your provider,
Your deliverer, your love like no other.
Your protector, your strong watchtower,
Your restorer, this very hour, let me be your true Savior.

My child, I will give you a crown of beauty for ashes,
A joyous blessing instead of mourning,
A festive praise instead of despair.
My heavens orchestra of angels rejoicing for your return.

I am the one, who can heal your broken heart,
Tender mercies in my hand freely to you, to you to give.
To wrap you in my loving arms, my child never to depart.
I gave up my only son to die for you, that you may live.

You are worth so much more to me;
My child let me change you from within,
My child, just believe that I will see this through for you.
Believe me when I say I will remove all your shame and sin,
Old things have passed away; Behold, I make all things brand new.

I make all things brand new.
I make all things brand new.
I make all things brand new.

Follow me and see, and I will give you everlasting peace.

My child, I will give you a crown of beauty for ashes,
A joyous blessing instead of mourning,
A festive praise instead of despair.
My heavens orchestra of angels rejoicing for your return.

You Know the Way

My precious Lord, my Savior,
You know the way better than me.
You are very much familiar with the path that I must take.

I want to always take hold of your hand Father,
That I never let go, like a child who holds the hand of his daddy and mommy.
You will lead my soul to your heavenly kingdom gates,
And into the great banquet with you to partake.

You watch my comings and goings,
Your tender mercy and kindness follows me.
Always loving and forgiving,
You ear tending to my cries, my pleas.

I pray that my heart always follow you,
My Lord that I am always close to your side
Not get distracted and be tempted to stray.

You are there to walk with me and see me through,
That I walk by faith and not by sight,
My loving Savior will lead me, for truly He knows the way.

Abba Father

Do you feel the worlds anguish, its pain thriving?
It is harsh, abusive, unspeakable memories untold.
The world is distant as well as demanding,
Why the love of many still runs cold.

Unforgiving experiences of the past,
Has left your heart’s unhappiness searching for true love to embrace,
Has left your life shattered like fragile broken glass.
Then you hear about this love,
JESUS,
The name above all names.

He tells you about His Father, amazing love like no other.
Wants you to feel the warmth embrace you’re hearts been missing.
He tells you He’s closer than a friend, much closer than a brother.

You just don’t completely understand.
I say don’t give up on hope,
Give Christ’s love a chance,
There’s healing in the Heavenly Father’s hands.

Made Right in His Love

Oh Lord, why did it take so long for me to love you?
When you my Lord have loved me from the beginning,
Long before I was born.
You knew my name, before I came to be.

You knew in this life of mine what I would face and go through
But through it all your mercies reached me from your throne.
I had walked blind and foolish, until now you let me see.

I was searching but never finding true love.
Couldn’t find it in the lust of the flesh,
Lust of the eyes and in the pride of life.
This world kept my heart empty inside,
My heart had nothing to admire.

Until I learned you sent your one and only Son,
To be put on the cross, blameless, to be my sacrifice
You loved me that much, you sought after me, and you found me,
To be with you forever that was your heart’s desire.

What kind of devout love is this?
That would make man entirely whole?
A love beyond my understanding that I cannot dismiss.
A type of love that forgives my sins and restores my broken soul.
His compassion given from above, I’m made right in His love.

You may ask why the God of the universe?
Why the God of all creation would even think of this unworthy me?
Why he would ransom His only precious Son to the cross?
To offer you a pure everlasting unconditional sacred holy love
Made available for free.

This love is for eternity forevermore,
A love without remnant, it has no end
Just believe, have faith in the Savior
In the Christ that died for you my friend.

The restorer of broken hearts,
He was pierced through our transgressions
He was crushed for our iniquities;
We receive healing through his beaten scars,
Be made right with your voice of confession.

Be made whole, be born again,
He’s removed your shame.
Who tramples our sins under his feet
and throws them into the depths of the ocean!
Be made right in His love and call upon His name.
His compassion given from above,
My friend be made right in His love.

Wholeheartedly

Lord, I come before you,
Knelt down at your feet.
I am asking for your forgiveness,
That only your sovereign grace can give.
I’m tired of wondering, no place to go,
Without you in my life I am lost,
My heart is left without a home.

But this I know,
You are close to the broken hearted,
This I know,
You give strength to the weary,
This I know,
To go back to my first love,
And love you Wholeheartedly.

I didn't mean to cause you pain,
I let my selfishness get in the way,
I want to start again, can this soul be saved?
In you can I only be complete and be made whole,
I want my love to be genuine with you O precious Lord.

You say,
You are close to the broken hearted,
You say,
You give strength to the weary,
You say to return,
Back to my first love,
Lord I want to love you Wholeheartedly.

With your blood I was bought.
Wholeheartedly take up my cross and follow you to the end,
I lift up my hands and praise your holy name.
Wholeheartedly, without doubts and reservation,
I can enter in the holy of holies,
Be in your presence and worship my majesty,
Wholeheartedly.

A Man After Your Own Heart

Oh Father in heaven above,
Your mercies are new every morning.
Oh how great is your love!
My heart worships you with praise and singing.

My heart burns within me,
To walk in your presence to be with you
Be drowned in the fragrance of your love.

To live out my life for my Savior, my King,
To desire and hunger for your truth,
To walk humbly before my loving God.

So my prayer is to be known more than just a proud son.
To be known more than just a loving father.
To be known more than just faithful husband,
To be known more than just a close brother.

To be known more than just a trusted friend,
To be known more than someone who trusted in your word, that I didn’t depart
To be known more than someone who extended a helping hand.
To be known more than anything this life of mine imparts.

Oh Lord, It is my sincere prayer,
That I always stay close and follow you,
Please don’t let me ever from you drift apart.

Let it be known, it is my heart’s one desire.
That I always remain true
My God, to be known that I was a man after your own heart.

The Good Message

What it must of have been like is beyond our comprehension.
That conversation God the Father and his son in Heaven.

All of heaven silenced, why their precious treasure must go.
One word, obedience, for the love of His Father is all He had known.
Among us a humbled loving servant he would be.
To leave all behind his place of royalty.

I’ll go Father, I’ll go, for you and make this sacrifice.
I know what this means Father, I know, but there’s no other choice.
I’ll go and lay down my life, for the sins of the world.
Bring hope to the hopeless and strife, and raise your banner of love Father, let it be unfurled.

For it’s not a fairytale,
Nor a myth.
Not a past down fable,
Or something made up.

But the ultimate love story known to man,
Why God’s love is such a mystery.
Exchange Heaven’s treasure for the world’s sin.
Through God’s son we find grace and mercy.

But the exchange would involve a sacrifice,
Sufferings, beatings, only the world would allow.
The humiliation and spits to the face,
And a crown of thorns to go with it, placed above his brow.

For the world didn’t think twice,
To have him shamed, crucified,
To have him put to death on that old rugged cross.
Yes he gave up his life,
Paid the ultimate price,
So that you and I wouldn’t be lost.

What he had to endure to wrestle for our lives for eternity.
Agony he would feel, at the Garden of Gethsemane what courage!
But he went to die in my place,
that punishment rightly belonged to me,
This is the story, what’s all about, The Good Message.

I’ll go Father, I’ll go, for you and make this sacrifice.
I know what this means Father, I know, but there’s no other choice.
I’ll go and lay down my life, for the sins of the world.
Bring hope to the hopeless and strife,
and raise your banner of love Father, over me
Let it be unfurled.

99 On The Hill

It’s another morning in the pasture;
My heart is broken, in dismay.
When I noticed one of you were missing?

I’ve searched among your brothers and sisters, friends,
My precious love, why did you stray?
You’re worth more than anything.

This love of mine is true, and you belong to me still.
So I am off to find you, and leave my 99 on the hill.
Won’t give up but will see you through, my promise to fulfill.
So I am off to find you, and leave my 99 on the hill.

Battered and bruised, so hungry and thirsty
The dangers of the wilderness can make you lose your sense of direction so quickly.

Not aware of treacherous wolves that follow your path,
Or the poison berries you’re tempted to eat.
Your way may seem right but leads to death,
My sheep know my tender voice and follow me.

This love of mine is true, and you belong to me still.
So I am off to find you, and leave my 99 on the hill.
Won’t give up but will see you through, my promise to fulfill.
So I am off to find you, and leave my 99 on the hill.

The one, who is lost, can never be so far from being saved by the Father’s hand.
He’s paid the price and you’ve been bought, by the blood of the lamb.

God’s love for each individual is so great,
That he seeks out each one and rejoices when he or she is found.

Along with heaven’s orchestra as the angels celebrate,
On Christ shoulders, carrying you home where true love abounds.

Lost one,
He loves you still,
He will see you through
To Him you truly belong,
He would leave the 99 on the hill,
Just to find you.

Job’s Song

Job, do you feel the leaves begin to fall in your life,
Job, do you feel a change of weather?
That a dry season is coming?
Probing the questions and reasons why?
Walking but going nowhere,
Job, why must you go through this hardship, this suffering?

Do you have the feelings of unhappiness?
Have fears of the unknown,
Job, are you full of misery and distress?
Crying out have mercy Lord, save my troubled soul.

What is your song Job?

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart.
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.”

But Job, you lost everything, ruin without reason.
What is left? Curse God and die?
Painful sores from head to feet, are you ready for the dry season?
You sit there among the ashes to what end? Job why?

What is your song Job? Where is your God Job? Who will deliver you now Job?

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart.
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.”

My Lord and King, my hearts deservingness,
My knees to the floor; my heart I will sing.
The praiseworthiness of you Lord does not depend on my circumstances.
I praise you for your unchangeable and desirable worth.

Father, I praise you, for who you are,
Sovereign Lord,
All-powerful,
Unmovable,
Good,
Holy,
Everlasting,
Merciful,
Mighty to save,
My strong tower,
The Lord Almighty loving God,
Creator of heaven and earth.

I will sing a new song;
To the one who is faithful and true.
I worship you in every season I face,
My soul still before you and quietly wait all day long.
Strength and victory belong to you.
Will not let suffering, or the enemy destroy my faith.

Seasons change, people change,
And we speak of things of God we do not understand,
Things to wonderful for us to know,
But one thing still remains;
No one can alter His plans,
He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever.
God’s love reigns that he freely bestows.

I will sing a new song;
To the one who is faithful and true.
I worship you in every season I face,
My soul still before you and quietly wait all day long.
Strength and victory belong to you.
Will not let suffering, or the enemy destroy my faith.

HOPE
Oh LORD,
This morning my soul is downcast,
My heart heavy in pain, feel forsaken.

Now gone the one I adored,
My life shattered like broken glass
Why was my precious one taken?

My mind floods with questions for reasons why?
Overwhelmed with tears that have soaked my bed.
My flesh in me wants to anger inside,
Wants to blame you instead.

So I am holding on to your promises
It’s all I know, what little strength I have to do.
Keep me in your presence where I hear angel choruses,
Lord, bring comfort and strength to my heart that I may worship you.

With anticipation, expectation, this confidence,
I put my hope, my trust in you.
Though I walk through the valley of death,
I know you are with me; your rod and staff will protect, and will see me through.

One day, I will see my precious again,
The comfort of knowing that it will come to past.
Knowing my precious is now in the arms of my loving savior, my friend,
To know only what you do for Christ will surely last.

He’s
Our
Peace
Eternally

I will never give up hope
Or stop praising you.

Just Like
We all been there before;
We walked down that lonely road,
Not knowing which way to go.

Many times we’ve failed the Lord,
Our hearts filled with a heavy load,
We felt the aching within our troubled soul.

We have this tendency to stray, to depart;
Our flesh wishes it and to leave the God we love.

We wish to obey;
Lord you know our hearts,
What motives and thoughts do we truly speak of?

Then I would read God’s word, and find someone I know,
That went through the same problems as us.

They found grace and favor, forgiveness that overflows;
It’s good to be set free by the power of His love.

For just like Abraham our faith gets tested,
Just like Moses we have lost our patience,

Just like Samson we have fallen short and lost our strength,
Just like King David, a man after God's own heart,
We’ve also made some bad mistakes.

Just like the prophet Elijah, we’ve been afraid and ran in fear,
Just like Jeremiah, we’ve cried day and night, with so many tears.

Just like Isaiah,
All of us have become like one who is unclean,
And all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;
Just like Jonah, we don’t want to forgive and show mercy,
We have also walked away from the Lord in defiance.

We have this tendency to stray, to depart;
Our flesh wishes it and to leave the God we love.

We wish to obey;
Lord you know our hearts,
What motives and thoughts do we truly speak of?

Then I would read God’s word, and find someone I know,
That went through the same problems as us.

They found grace and favor, forgiveness that overflows;
It’s good to be set free by the power of His love.

Just like the Samaritan women, we’ve searched for answers;
Just like the adulterous women, we received mercy and grace from the Father.

Just like the disciples, we’ve walked in pride, who would be the greatest they would ask?
Just like Peter, the Lord we’ve regrettably denied,
And wished we had professed, instead hide behind our masks.

Just like Thomas we’ve doubted and asked for proof of revelation.
Just like Paul’s sinful past, we too our forgiven,
Set free, with no condemnation.

Though our spirit is willing but our flesh is weak.
Were just like them no different than you and me,

We can still find grace and we can still find mercy.
Amazing, that there is a God who’s love still pursues me;

Who’s filled our emptiness with loving kindness, he is truly more than enough.
Our hearts are sealed with his forgiveness; it’s good to be set free by the power of His love.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.I once was lost but now am found, was blind, but now I see.

Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for thy courts above.

Psalms 86:5 (NIV)
You are forgiving and good, O Lord, abounding in love to all who call to you.

Pieces

I once was lost,
Broken pieces of my life were on the floor
But now I'm found.
I am set free by the love of Christ.

He paid the cost,
And opened the door,
Broke the chains that had me bound.
He's picking up the broken pieces of my life.

I passed from death to life when He went to the cross.
He died so I can live.
In Jesus I put my faith and trust,
And now I live for Him.
Nothing in this world can get your heart on fire,
Nothing in this world can truly satisfy.
If you let Christ be your true desire,
He'll pick up the broken pieces of your life.

My life was heading in so many directions,
Was running away from God making excuses.
It was all about sex and booze,
Who can I take advantage today and use?

I cannot change the sins of the past,
My shameful regrets,
Ashamed of the secret things I have done.
But God has made for me all things new that will last,
My past sins He promises to forget,
And a future to live with Him in His eternal Kingdom.

Isaiah 44:22 (The Message)

“I've wiped the slate of all your wrongdoings. There's nothing left of your sins.Come back to me, come back. I've redeemed you."

(With Jesus Christ you can begin a clean slate today, and start a new beginning with Him forever.)

Do you know for certain that you have eternal life and that you will go to heaven when you die?
God’s purpose is that you have eternal life.

Is there any reason why you would not be willing to receive God’s gift of eternal life?

Are you willing to turn from your sin and place your faith in Jesus right now?
The bible says, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13)

Please read this prayer and see if you want to say something like this to God.

Dear Lord,

I believe you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross and was raised from the dead. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness. I turn away from my sins and receive you as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for saving me Jesus.

Welcome to the family of God. You have just made the most important decision of your life. You can be sure you are saved and have eternal life. Three things you must know, and God is there to guide you, as well as other Christians to encourage and support you.

1. You entered God’s family by a SPIRITUAL BIRTH, you are BORN AGAIN.
2. GOD’s WORD is essential for spiritual growth just as food is for physical growth. “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.” (1 Peter 2:2-3)

· God’s Word will help you grow: READ IT DAILY.
· God’s Word will guide you: HEAR IT TAUGHT AND PREACHED
· God’s Word will keep you from sin: MEMORIZE AND OBEY IT
· God’s Word will teach you how to live: STUDY IT
· God’s Word will inspire you: MEDITATE ON IT
· God’s Word will work: PRACTICE IT

Prayer is essential to spiritual growth just as breath is to physical growth.
Praying is like breathing:

· As you exhale, talk to God.
· As you inhale, listen to God.

Talk to Him anytime:

· You want to worship Him
· You need help
· You feel lonely
· You need strength
· You want guidance
· You are tempted
· You sin or fail (If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.) 1 John 1:9

3. THE CHURCH is essential to spiritual growth just as the home is to a baby’s growth. What a good home and family are to a baby, the church is to a new Christian.

God’s people, the church, are your new family; find a church that you will spiritually grow in the love of Christ.

· They will rejoice that you have been born again.
· They will accept you and love you.
· They will encourage you and give you support
· They will teach you and train you how to live.
· They will worship God with you.

Be Strong and Courageous
My precious child,
I understand your fears,
I see your sorrows.
These days I seldom see my children smile,
Instead tears,
And worries about tomorrow.
I want you to know that I am with you,
I will not abandon,
You will soar like an eagle.
I will see you through,
As I hold your hand,
Walk you through your trials.

You see,
I told a young man once,
His name was Joshua this is true.
To just believe,
You can do this,
Wherever you go I am with you.
I know days will feel long,
And nothing accomplished,
My child, be like Joshua,
Be strong and courageous.

You may not succeed by the world's standards,
But you will be a success in my own eyes.
My opinion lasts forever,
My children continue to fight the good fight.

For just as I was with Joshua,
Trust in me,
Have faith in me,
Believe in what I say is true.
My precious child,
Be strong and courageous
Wherever you go I am with you.

I know days will feel long,
And nothing accomplished,
My dear child, be like Joshua,
Be strong and very courageous.

All I Can Do Is Pray

I'm restless can't sleep,
My worried thoughts are keeping me up tonight.

Hopeless dreams
Entertaining me again,
As I struggle with this fight.

When I am weak,
He is strong,
He’ll lead me where to go.
To see me through another day.
His word will speak,
And birth out of my heart a new song.
It's all I know,
For all I can do is pray.

Though I've walked through this valley before,
And held His hand that leads me home to the meadows.

I am asking,
Seeking,
Knocking on your door,
I feel I am being left all alone to fight in the shadows.

Will I find rest?
Will I find peace?
In the one who can save?
Is my faithfulness being put through the test?
I'm on my knees,
For all I can do is pray.

I will fight the good fight and pray without ceasing.
To walk by faith and not by sight, and keep on believing.

When I am week,
He is strong,
He’ll lead me where to go.
To see me through another day.
His word will speak,
And birth out of my heart a new song.
It's all I know,
For all I can do is pray.

Holding on to hope,
That I will hear a word from you today.
It's all I know,
For all I can do is pray.
